Otsuma Women’s University is located in Chiyoda Ward, near the Imperial Palace, in the central part of Tokyo, with the other, and suburban, campus among the greenery, in Tama.
It was founded as a school for sewing by Otsuma Kotaka (1884-1970). Our motto is “Never disgrace yourself!” (恥を知れ “Haji o shire” in Japanese)
