一般社団法人日本オープンオンライン教育推進協議会（所在：東京都港区、理事長：白井克彦、以下、JMOOC）は、タイ・バンコクで8月5日から8月6日の会期で開催されたTCU（Thailand Cyber University）主催IEC2025（International e-Learning Conference2025）に参加しました。
会期中はJMOOCより飯吉理事（京都大）、児玉理事（法政大）、吉嶺先生（九州大）、協賛会員である日本1EdTech協会より山田恒夫先生にご登壇いただき、現在世界的に普及が進んでいるマイクロクレデンシャルやAIを活用した教育システムにおけるJMOOCの取り組みを始め、教育デジタルエコシステムのユースケースについて、海外のMOOC団体や国際関係機関などへ向けて発信しました。
JMOOCは2013年11月にアジアで最初にMOOCを立ち上げた団体であり、今後もアジアMOOCのリーダーシップを担うべく、韓国MOOC（K-MOOC）やタイMOOC（Thai-MOOC）を始め、ベトナムやミャンマーなど、世界的にMOOCを推進するために、国際連携を推進してまいります。

[Activity Report] Participation Report at IEC2025 (International e-Learning Conference 2025) Hosted by Thailand Cyber University (TCU)
The Japan Open Online Education Promotion Council (JMOOC), a general incorporated association based in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Katsuhiko Shirai, participated in IEC2025 (International e-Learning Conference 2025) hosted by Thailand Cyber University (TCU), held in Bangkok, Thailand from August 5 to 6.
During the event, JMOOC Director Toru Iiyoshi (Kyoto University), Director Yasushi Kodama (Hosei University), Prof. Kanako Yoshimine (Kyushu University), and Prof. Tsuneo Yamada of the Japan 1EdTech Association, a supporting member, spoke to overseas MOOC organizations and international organizations about JMOOC’s efforts in educational systems utilizing micro-credentials and AI, which are becoming increasingly popular worldwide, as well as use cases for the educational digital ecosystem.
JMOOC was the first organization to launch MOOC in Asia in November 2013. We will continue to play a leading role in MOOCs in Asia, promoting international collaboration to promote MOOCs globally, including Korea MOOC (K-MOOC) and Thailand MOOC (Thai-MOOC), as well as Vietnam and Myanmar.
