【活動報告】タイ工学部長協議会（The Council of Engineering Deans of Thailand (CEDT)）との意見交換会開催レポート (Followed by English translation)

一般社団法人日本オープンオンライン教育推進協議会（所在：東京都港区、理事長：白井克彦、以下、JMOOC）は、6月23日に、タイ国の工学部長協議会（The Council of Engineering Deans of Thailand (以下、CEDT)）との意見交換会を開催しました。

当日はJMOOCとCEDT間で今後のオンライン教育、工学教育、高等教育、社会人教育のありかたに関し幅広い意見交換を行い、今後両団体間の国際連携の在り方を協議しました。

JMOOCは2013年11月にアジアで最初にMOOCを立ち上げた団体であり、今後もアジアMOOCのリーダーシップを担うべく、韓国MOOC（K-MOOC）やタイMOOC（Thai-MOOC）を始め、ベトナムやミャンマーなど、世界的にMOOCを推進するために、国際連携を推進してまいります。

【Activity Report】Report on the Meeting with the Council of Engineering Deans of Thailand (CEDT)

The Japan Open Online Education Promotion Council (JMOOC), a general incorporated association located in Minato-ku, Tokyo, and headed by President Katsuhiko Shirai, held a meeting for exchange of views with the Council of Engineering Deans of Thailand (CEDT) on June 23rd.

During the meeting, JMOOC and CEDT engaged in a broad discussion regarding the future of online education, engineering education, higher education, and adult education, and deliberated on the ways to enhance international collaboration between the two organizations.

JMOOC, established in November 2013 as the first MOOC organization in Asia, will continue to take the lead in Asian MOOC initiatives. In addition to initiatives like K-MOOC in South Korea and Thai-MOOC in Thailand, JMOOC aims to promote MOOC globally, including in countries like Vietnam and Myanmar, by actively pursuing international collaboration.
