一般社団法人日本オープンオンライン教育推進協議会（所在：東京都港区、理事長：白井克彦、以下、JMOOC）は、タイ・バンコクで8月31日から9月1日の会期で開催されたTCU（Thailand Cyber University）主催IEC2023（International e-Learning Conference2023）参加しました。
会期中はJMOOC国際連携WGより児玉主査、井上先生、吉嶺先生に参加いただき、井上先生より「Micro-credential, Innovative Framework for Higher and Lifelong Education」と題したKeynoteスピーチを、児玉先生より「JMOOC Roundtable discussion」と題したクラスセッションに登壇いただき、世界的に取り組みが進められているマイクロクレデンシャルを中心としたJMOOCの取り組みについて、海外のMOOC団体や国際関係機関などへ向けて発信しました。
JMOOCは2013年11月にアジアで最初にMOOCを立ち上げた団体であり、今後もアジアMOOCのリーダーシップを担うべく、韓国MOOC（K-MOOC）やタイMOOC（Thai-MOOC）を始め、ベトナムやミャンマーなど、世界的にMOOCを推進するために、国際連携を推進してまいります。
【Activity Report】Participation report in the International e-Learning Conference (IEC2023) hosted by Thailand Cyber University (TCU)
The delegation of the Japan Open Online Education Council (Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan; Chairman: Katsuhiko Shirai; hereinafter referred to as JMOOC) participated in the International e-Learning Conference (IEC2023) hosted by the Thailand Cyber University (TCU ) held in Bangkok, Thailand from August 31 to September 1, 2023.
Prof. Kodama, Prof. Inoue, and Prof. Yoshimine from the JMOOC International Collaboration Working Group participated the conference, and Prof. Inoue gave a Keynote speech titled “Micro-credential, Innovative Framework for Higher and Lifelong Education,” and Prof. Kodama organized “JMOOC Roundtable.” They widely communicated to the world about JMOOC initiatives on micro-credentials, which are being promoted worldwide.
JMOOC, established in November 2013 as the first MOOC organization in Asia, will continue to take the lead in Asian MOOC initiatives. The JMOOC will promote MOOC globally and actively pursue international collaboration with K-MOOC in South Korea and Thai-MOOC in Thailand as well as Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar etc. with Asian countries.
