一般社団法人日本オープンオンライン教育推進協議会（所在：東京都港区、理事長：白井克彦、以下、JMOOC）は、Thai-MOOCと共同で「高等教育における生涯学習のための MOOC、マイクロクレデンシャル、デジタルバッジ」をテーマとしたワークショップを開催しました。
今回の国際会議は2025年2月24日(月)と25日(火)の2日間に渡り、タイ・バンコクのThe Berkeley Hotel Platinumで開催され、現地ではチュラロンコン大学やキングモンクット工科大学トンブリー校（KMUTT）より大学関係者の来場に加え、日本からのZoom参加、Thai-MOOCのfacebookライブを通じて会期中のべ300名を超える多くの参加者がありました。

JMOOCは2013年11月にアジアで最初にMOOCを立ち上げた団体であり、今後もアジアMOOCのリーダーシップを担うべく、韓国MOOC（K-MOOC）やタイMOOC（Thai-MOOC）を始め、ベトナムやミャンマーなど、世界的にMOOCを推進するために、国際連携を推進してまいります。
The Japan Open Online Education Promotion Council (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Katsuhiko Shirai; hereinafter referred to as JMOOC) held a workshop with Thai-MOOC on the theme of “MOOC, Micro-Credentials, and Digital Badges for Lifelong Learning in Higher Education.”
This international conference was held over two days, Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th February 2025, at The Berkeley Hotel Platinum in Bangkok, Thailand. In addition to university officials from Chulalongkorn University and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), more than 300 people participated in the event during the period via Zoom from Japan and via Thai-MOOC’s Facebook Live.

JMOOC is the organization that launched the first MOOC in Asia in November 2013, and will continue to play a leading role in MOOCs in Asia, promoting international collaboration to promote MOOCs worldwide, including Korea MOOC (K-MOOC), Thailand MOOC (Thai-MOOC), Vietnam, Myanmar, and other countries.
