一般社団法人日本オープンオンライン教育推進協議会（所在：東京都港区、理事長：白井克彦、以下、JMOOC）は、5月24日に、Thai MOOCとの意見交換会を開催しました。
JMOOCは2017年3月3日にタイ・バンコクで行われた国際会議「The 1st Asia-Pacific MOOC Stakeholders Summit」において、韓国MOOC（K-MOOC）およびタイMOOC（Thai-MOOC）と、今後のアジアにおけるMOOC拡大にむけた相互協力に関する覚書を締結しており、本年4月12日のKMOOC訪問に続き、今回の意見交換会では現在の両者の取り組みを共有し、今後の国際連携を更に強化していくための取り組みについてオンラインミーティングを行いました。
JMOOCは2013年11月にアジアで最初にMOOCを立ち上げた団体であり、今後もアジアMOOCのリーダーシップを担うべく、韓国MOOC（K-MOOC）やタイMOOC（Thai-MOOC）を始め、ベトナムやミャンマーなど、世界的にMOOCを推進するために、国際連携を推進してまいります。
［Activity report］ Opinion exchange meeting with ThaiMOOC Report
The Japan Open Online Education Promotion Council (JMOOC), a general incorporated association located in Minato-ku, Tokyo, and chaired by Katsuhiko Shirai, held an exchange meeting with Thai MOOC on May 24th.
At the 1st Asia-Pacific MOOC Stakeholders Summit held in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 3, 2017, JMOOC signed a memorandum of understanding with K-MOOC (Korean MOOC) and Thai-MOOC (Thai MOOC) regarding mutual cooperation for the expansion of MOOCs in Asia.(*) Following the visit to K-MOOC on April 12th this year, the exchange meeting was conducted via an online meeting to share the current initiatives of both parties and discuss efforts to further strengthen international collaboration.
JMOOC, which launched the first MOOC in Asia in November 2013, continues to play a leading role in Asia’s MOOC landscape. To promote MOOCs globally, JMOOC is actively advancing international collaboration with K-MOOC, Thai-MOOC, as well as countries like Vietnam and Myanmar.
